I am sad to announce Pathfinder WILL BE CANCELLING ALL RACES for 2003.

The main reason is simply the time restriction on behalf of everyone at Pathfinder. We do not do this for a a living and we all hold very challenging jobs.

My partner James was promoted to VP at LaSalle bank and is expecting his first child around race time, not to mention renovating a huge home. Our course designer Chris Bruce is going to Special Forces tryouts and selection at race time, Karen McFarland our comms and volunteer coordinator just opened up a monstrous health club and our logistics coordinator is testifying in an international trial for the government. We simply cannot put these races on efficiently. I just bit off more than I can chew from the pressure of racers to try and please everyone and simply cannot do it. We all have been doing this consistently since 1997 and our lives like many of yours have taken over where we cannot put forth the necessary effort this year to do this. I, on behalf of everyone, want to sincerely apologize for the cancellation but we kept putting off having to cancel in the hopes that we could squeeze out and find time but we ju! st cannot. We hope that we can return next year for another Pathfinder and we will start working on it as soon as we have some time. Our sincere apologies and good luck this year.
